I love a good spring refresh. A good clean and some new items to liven things up. Just me? It’s always nice to add a bit of colour around this time of the year. I find that I gravitate to light pinks, light blues and yellows. Funny enough, that’s exactly what I’ve used in the Nursery inspiration boards I’ve created for you today. We’re talking all about pastels in the nursery.
This look is super fun and playful. Of course yellow is known as the bright and sunny colour and it’s so great that it’s gender neutral. With this space I chose this gorgeous crib from Franklin and Ben. Isn’t it gorgeous with the tufting on the sides!? Awesome that it converts into a double bed as well. Click the link to see what I’m talking about. I’ve added a fun crib sheet. You know this is where I like to bring in pattern and colour most of the time. Can’t go wrong with these pints from Petite Pehr. The baby ducks were perfect for this nursery. This blanket adds a bit of sparkle and goes well with the light yellow in the rest of the room. Last but not least, and possibly my favourite item in this space… the giraffe. How amazing are the Fiona Walker Felt Heads!? There are just so many cute ones to choose from. I love the look of layering a few of these on a wall. Your child will love them!
Room two really showcases the pastels. I’ve chosen a minty blue and coral combination. It all started with this crib. I think the colour is so much fun! Also, great for a boy or a girl (which I love!). Next up, I decided to go with this crib sheet. I like the pattern and the colour it brings to the space. It was a no brainer to add this cute blanket and pint as well. After that, I found this super cute mobile. Practical and pretty! You just can’t go wrong. Lastly, for a bit of whimsy I thought this wall decal was really cute. Plus, it ties in the colours of the room so well.
I’m calling this the ‘Unicorn Room’. It all started with the Fiona Walker Felt Unicorn Head. I’m thinking I should get this for Evie’s room. These pastel pink sheets are the perfect amout of pattern and colour for this room. The crib is beautiful and is a great price point. Click the link to see how affordable it is. It also converts to a toddler bed (score!). Every nursery needs a blanket. The swan blanket from Lolli Living is just too cute to pass up. To continue with the ‘Unicorn’ theme I had to add this adorable unicorn book. I mean… you can never have too many books. I think I’m going to have to pick this one up for Evie as well. That’s the problem with creating all these nurseries… I want to buy everything for myself.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope this was helpful. Have we inspired you to change things up for Spring? If there’s one thing you’re planning to change let us know in the comments below. For me, I love swapping out the crib sheet. A super simple and affordable way to change things up.
